This short film was born from a simple idea: to create a story larger than its means. Though written by a human, the film was brought to life entirely through the use of artificial intelligence, from imagery to narration. By harnessing AI tools, the project transcended the traditional limits of budget and location, proving that meaningful storytelling is no longer confined by circumstance. This experiment is not about replacing the human voice, but amplifying it. PURPOSE invites viewers into a visual parable set against the unforgiving desert, a landscape that serves as a metaphor for the hardest seasons of life. Through subtext and intimate narration, the film explores the weight we carry, the unseen voices that depend on our journey, and the hope that persists even when answers remain beyond the horizon. This short film transforms the desertscape into a mirror of our existence, offering not resolution but reflection, a reminder that beyond hardship lies not triumph, but purpose.*This entry is participating in the ReelShort Reel Vertical Impact contest Explore more series in Playing Dumb, Vertical Series.
