This is a heartwarming family comedy about the daily life of the Jiang family, an ordinary middle-class urban household, filled with trivialities, playful banter, and touching moments. The mother, Gao Ya, is a frugal, strong-willed, and caring housewife. The father, Jiang Yi, makes a living by writing at home, occasionally being tasked by his wife to do household chores he's not particularly skilled at. The older sister, Jiang Duoyu, and younger brother, Jiang Yikun, are a pair of mischievous siblings, one year apart, constantly engaging in playful rivalry. Both siblings struggle with their studies, often worrying their parents. As the college entrance exam approaches, Jiang Yikun spends his days taking online lessons at home, but his results remain unsatisfactory. The family is doing everything they can to help him succeed.
