Liu Yan, the president of Liu Group, is away on a business trip and leaves his comatose daughter Liu Yanwei in the care of his distant cousin Ruan Wen. Unfortunately, Ruan Wen's family turns out to be 'parasites' - her husband Yang Ping is a gambler and womanizer, and her son Yang Zhiwen had once pursued Liu Yanwei who rejected him, harboring resentment. Liu Yanwei unexpectedly wakes up only to be illegally imprisoned, abused, extorted, and even drugged and nearly assaulted by the three. Upon returning home, Liu Yan discovers the theft of household valuables and uncovers the truth, but is blackmailed by Ruan Wen to sign a stock transfer deed using his daughter's life as leverage. Fortunately, with the help of auction house manager Wang Mo and his classmate Chen Jie, Liu Yanwei is rescued. The Ruan Wen trio are crippled and expelled, but their evil hearts remain. At Liu Yanwei's recovery banquet, they disguise themselves as servants to create chaos and defame her. Liu Yan publicly reveals the transfer records, medical reports, and surveillance evidence, leading to their arrest. Finally, Liu Group establishes a charity foundation, and the wicked reap the fruits of their greed. Explore more series in Billionaire & CEO, Romance & Love, Hidden Identity.
