He Yao's father, He Mantian, who was the protector of the treasures, was left mentally impaired. He returns home to find the Imperial Emperor Painting but is robbed by Wang Shuai, a subordinate of Sato. Han Yingxue brings him back to the Han family, where He Yao helps solve a series of robberies. Gaining Han Long's trust and developing feelings for Han Yingxue, He Yao steps forward at the conference to expose Sato's deception and reveal the truth behind the treasures.
