In a 1960s western town, waitress Evelyn becomes pregnant by ranch heir Colton after a one-night stand. Framed by her stepsister, she is sent to prison and gives birth to her son alone. Six years later, a paternity test reveals the truth. Colton then tracks her down and protects her from harm.
