The middle of the season, where the conflict escalates.
Ye Ningshuang's boyfriend cheats on her with her best friend, Su Qingcheng. After being stranded on the streets, she is saved by Ji Zechen, who offers her a deal: to impersonate his fiancée, Gu Nianci, the daughter of Jiangcheng's wealthiest man. Ye Ningshuang agrees, hoping that by being with Ji Zechen, she can become Su Qingcheng's "aunt." While pretending to be Gu Nianci, she faces several identity crises but cleverly resolves them with Ji Zechen's help. As they spend more time together, Ji Zechen begins to fall for his fake fiancée. Eventually, they discover that Ye Ningshuang is actually Gu Nianci, who disappeared and lost her memory three years ago. After overcoming many obstacles, they firmly choose each other, and Ji Zechen proposes to Ye Ningshuang again.
