Opening of the season — the setup and the first turn.
Although Zhao Mengshu, a housewife, is deaf, she has a perfect husband, Zhou Ming, and her sister, Jiang Ya. However, her happy life is shattered after she regains her hearing. It turns out that her husband has been having an affair with her sister and is planning a much bigger conspiracy. To find out the truth, Zhao Mengshu endures humiliation and continues to pretend to be deaf, embarking on a cat-and-mouse game with her husband and sister.
