將軍府庶女夏寒露，往昔被虐至染肺癆，及笄求助遭嫡女夏雨晴陷害，罰跪雪地氣絕而亡。重生後，她不再對將軍府抱有幻想。塞外布防圖事件中，夏寒露將計就計，給夏雨晴設計有漏洞的圖。皇帝鑒閱時，夏寒露於將軍府割袍斷親，改姓蘇。面對夏雨晴誣陷，她提前布局，獲皇帝聖旨護佑，使將軍府眾人受罰。夏子英武考欲羞辱她也未得逞，夏雨晴與陳雨菲仗勢尋釁，還綁走其義母蘇如瑤（隱居民間的太后），最終激怒皇帝等人，將軍府與國公府被滅，夏寒露憑堅韌與謀略改寫命運，恩怨得償。
