The middle of the season, where the conflict escalates.
Zhao Guilan grows valuable Dendrobium on her land to save for her son’s home in the city. Her neighbors secretly seize the land and destroy her crops to build their son’s wedding house. Refusing to back down, Zhao gathers surveillance footage and recordings, hires a lawyer, and exposes the family online. Public outrage forces them to pay 34,000 in damages. In the end, Zhao gets justice—and buys her son the home he dreamed of.
