After a night of losing control following her celebration banquet, music queen Kira finds herself entangled with ice hockey star Evan. Upon waking, she only wants to walk away—but is pushed back toward Evan step by step by scandals, her fiancé's betrayal, and the interests of high society. The more coldly distant she becomes, the more aggressively he pursues her. She wants to protect her reputation and career; he insists on tearing through her carefully constructed armor.
