Opening of the season — the setup and the first turn.
In the seventh year of the Republic of China, the family of Commander Tantai is tragically wiped out in a plot orchestrated by the military governor of Hu City, Fu Yuanxing. In the end, only the fiancée of the eldest son, Tantai Qing, Yun Jinxia, and the second son, Tantai Si, manage to escape. However, in order to clear their names, they must risk their lives to infiltrate the Tantai family and uncover the truth. In the end, Tantai Si uses his intelligence and resourcefulness to achieve victory, while Fu Yuanxing meets his death in the streets.
