The middle of the season, where the conflict escalates.
Wang Yue and Li Chan were close dorm mates. After a night out, Li Chan found herself pregnant and, not wanting to ruin her graduation or future marriage prospects, asked Wang Yue to lend her ID to buy abortion pills. Out of friendship, Wang Yue agreed, but the pills caused severe bleeding, and Li Chan lost her fertility. She blamed Wang Yue for what happened and, with the help of their dorm mates Zheng Wei and Zhang Xue, had Wang Yue kicked out. Later, Li Chan received a friend request from Wang Yue's father, Wang Hui. Misinterpreting a WeChat post as a confession to her, Li Chan thought Wang Hui was expressing interest in her. However, at the graduation ceremony, when she saw Wang Yue and Wang Hui hugging, she accused Wang Yue of stealing her "boyfriend," sparking a conflict.
