Cheng Yue and Liu Da's wife went into labor at the same time, but because Huo Feng took the operating room first, Liu Da's wife suffered an amniotic fluid embolism and passed away shortly after giving birth. Harboring deep resentment, Liu Da secretly switched the two families' babies, taking the Huo family's daughter away. Eighteen years later, the two children have grown up. The Huo couple accidentally discover that Huo Mingzhu is not their biological daughter. As they search for their real child, they remain unaware that the girl everyone despises and who has been bullied by Huo Mingzhu—Liu Chuyi—is actually their long-lost daughter.
