Opening of the season — the setup and the first turn.
In the Dragon Gate Showdown, Ye Tianqi successfully defeats the former sect leader, ascending to the pinnacle of martial arts, and shatters Lei Xiao's meridians in the process. Filled with resentment, Lei Xiao takes advantage of Ye Tianqi's absence to kill Ye Tianqi's wife and abduct his child. When Ye Tianqi arrives, it's too late. His wife, on her deathbed, urges him to let go of his hatred and not to be consumed by martial arts any longer. In response to her dying wish, Ye Tianqi seals his meridians, vowing never to practice martial arts again and becomes a janitor. However, in order to destroy the threat of the Dongyang Group, which endangers the Great Xia Empire, Ye Tianqi is forced to wield martial arts once more.
