After bankruptcy, Mia is forced into divorce by Henry. Down and out, she gives her wedding ring to pay for homeless Arthur's hotel stay. Years later, Arthur becomes a wealthy tycoon and repeatedly rescues Mia from Henry's harassment. The two grow close and fall in love. After a kidnapping ordeal lands the villains in jail, Arthur proposes and they finally marry.
