Synopsis

"Jiang Muxue's daughter suddenly falls ill and is hospitalized. She desperately calls her husband for help, but he coldly hangs up, saying he's busy with work. When she goes home to grab her bank card, she unexpectedly discovers a shocking gift her husband left for her—an affair. She finds women’s clothes scattered on the floor, a business card, and hears moaning from the bedroom, but she lacks the courage to confront him. Since their marriage, Jiang Muxue had become a full-time housewife, taking care of her mother-in-law, husband, and children. Her mother-in-law insisted that she drink a horrible fertility formula to have a son. Even during her confinement, Jiang Muxue was expected to serve the entire family—cooking, cleaning, and looking after the child—while her husband, on paternity leave, played games on the couch, ignoring her.
