Visiting Zhou Xiaxia’s home, Ling Wei sees her daughter seemingly happy and decides to keep their bond a secret, believing it’s best for Zhou Xiaxia to live an ordinary, content life. However, the reality is far bleaker—Zhou Xiaxia endures unimaginable suffering and desperately needs rescue. Despite Ling Wei’s efforts, fate keeps pulling them apart. At long last, their paths converge at Zhou Xiaxia’s wedding banquet, but not without countless trials along the way.
