Scarlett, an elven saintess, harbors deep reservations about love, shaped by the tragic fate of her mother. Swayed by Carlos, she eventually agrees to marry him—only to uncover a sinister plot: she is merely a scapegoat intended to absorb a curse, while Carlos’s true beloved is the noble elf, Raven. Heartbroken, she chooses to take on the duty of guarding an ancient seal. Over the course of a seven-day countdown, she repeatedly offers Carlos the chance to change his path, yet he consistently chooses Raven. In the end, she sacrifices herself to maintain the seal. Carlos is left consumed by grief—but it is already too late. Explore more series in Romance & Love, Family & Twins, Fantasy & Rebirth.
