Opening of the season — the setup and the first turn.
While reading a book, Lin Yuhan was transported into the story and became the assistant to the powerful CEO, Qin Lingyun. At this point, the CEO had just experienced a failed confession and was in despair, ready to give up on life. To prevent the plot from reaching its tragic conclusion, which would result in Qin Lingyun's death and the collapse of the world she had entered — leading to her own disappearance — Lin Yuhan decides to save him and work hard to prevent the company from going bankrupt. Thanks to Lin Yuhan's efforts, Qin Lingyun's suicide attempts fail, and he begins to live a completely different life, free from the constraints of the plot. As he becomes more dependent on Lin Yuhan, who takes care of him, their relationship grows stronger, and their feelings for each other gradually deepen.
