While unconscious on the operating table, An Yue recalls how a car accident at 20 left her with temporary aplastic anemia, making her a bone marrow donor for her sister An Xin. After a one-night stand with Jiang Qingzhan—who mistakenly believes it was with An Xin—An Yue becomes pregnant and decides to marry him. However, Jiang treats her coldly and constantly makes things difficult.
