This drama follows Xiao Yang, a ride-hailing driver who, after being humiliated and beaten at work, almost loses his job. However, the secretary of Shengqiang Group, the largest company in Jiang Province, visits him with news that he is set to inherit a trillion-dollar fortune. Initially skeptical, Xiao Yang plans to refuse the inheritance, but his mother's illness and financial struggles prompt him to reconsider. He learns that the president of Shengqiang Group, Xiao, is his distant relative, who left him the fortune on his deathbed, but with many conditions. To inherit it, Xiao Yang must complete several trials. The first is to marry and have a child to continue the family line. When he plans to propose to his girlfriend, Su Manyu, he discovers she is with Yang Shimei, the son of Yang Ming, and mocks him for having nothing. After being beaten by Yang Shimei's bodyguard, Xiao Yang gains the ability to hear people's inner thoughts.
