Opening of the season — the setup and the first turn.
Three years ago, Yi Chen was framed by foreigners and his junior martial brother, Wu Shuang, in the World Boxing Championship finals. Forced to throw a fixed fight, he became a disgrace to his country, losing his leg in the process. Three years later, Yi Chen is a laughingstock, a crippled cleaner with a broken spirit. His life spirals downwards until his daughter falls gravely ill, awakening him from his despair. He agrees to Coach Yun Zhi's plea to return to boxing. Yi Chen defeats one opponent after another with his raw talent, earning the respect of his ex-wife, Qiao Shiya, who sees a new side to the once-defeated fighter. They reconcile, and Yi Chen proves himself to his fellow countrymen. He returns to the World Boxing Championship stage, but the foreigners refuse to let him be, plotting against him repeatedly. Yi Chen remains unyielding, ultimately defeating his foes and reaching the pinnacle of his sport.
