An Ran, the illustrious daughter of the powerful An family, discovers her ambitious underdog lover cheating on her. She rushes to his wedding with the other woman, seeking revenge, but is drugged by a villain. It is Ji Shaoyan, a powerful man with connections in both the underworld and the legitimate world, who saves her. Five years later, An Ran returns with a new identity. When she encounters Ji Shaoyan again, her disguise is suspected. She tries to brush it off, but when two mini versions of Ji Shaoyan appear, he corners her at the door and says, "Miss An, what trick are you trying to pull this time?"
