楊信は若き日に南域で無双を誇り、多くの仇敵を作ったことで妻子が不幸に遭う。仇を討った後、彼は悪人島に5年隠退し、名を馳せる10人の弟子を育てたが、控えめになっていた。島を出た楊信は静かな余生を望むも、姪の頼みで、解散の危機にある北域の唐門を助けることになる。隠遁生活に慣れた彼は唐門の門主を引き受け、弟子を鍛え直して門派の再興を目指す。
