氷霜の毒に侵された雪獅子の王は、治療のため霊狐の珠を求めていた。彼は霊狐を捕らえるが、やがて彼女を愛し、その命を見逃す。しかし巫女の罠が王の呪いを解くが、霊狐は瀕死の状態に陥る。王は王位を捨て、自らの力を犠牲にして彼女を救うことを決意する。オーロラの下、二人の愛は生死の境界をも超えていく。
