Chu Chu wants to escape her family's pressure to marry, and Lu Yanche also avoids blind dates. The two accidentally meet while fleeing from marriage and, under pressure from their families, decide to marry. Since Lu Yanche is wearing a security guard uniform, Chu Chu assumes he's from a poor background. Because of her own experiences, she despises wealthy people who live off inheritance and believes everything should be earned through hard work. Lu Yanche hides his true identity, telling Chu Chu his house is rented. Chu Chu decides to work hard to buy a home for both of them. However, Lu Yanche plans to acquire Chu Chu's company, and they meet at work. He tries to keep his identity hidden while helping Chu Chu solve problems at work and home. After overcoming many challenges, they finally end up together.
