Wei Ming, the son of Fu Wangyan's mother Li Fang and her ex-husband, seeks revenge for his mother's abandonment by targeting Lin Chuxia, who also harbors a deep grudge against the Fu family. Lin Chuxia agrees to become a pawn in Wei Ming's plot, and together they scheme to destroy the Fu family. To do so, she breaks up with her boyfriend Shen Mubai, adopts a new identity as Xia Yuan, and seduces the arrogant CEO Fu Wangyan, leading him into a trap. However, as the plan unfolds, Lin Chuxia falls in love with Fu Wangyan, and they discover they were childhood playmates in an orphanage, deepening their bond. Despite Li Fang's opposition and Song Zhi's interference, Lin Chuxia returns years later with a child. During a final confrontation planned by Wei Ming, the couple clears their misunderstandings and reunites, becoming a happy family of three. Wei Ming and his mother Li Fang also reconcile, leaving no regrets.
