Psyche loves Eros and bears his child, but jealous Aphrodite curses her to die in childbirth. To shield Eros, Psyche fakes a betrayal with his best friend Zephyrus, breaking his heart. Six years later, Eros finds her raising their son Voluptas alone. Aphrodite is punished, and the family reunites.
