The female protagonist, Su Lizhen, is nearly 50 years old and a laid-off worker. She has been drained emotionally and financially by her son’s family, who constantly belittle her. In desperation, she decides to appear on a matchmaking show. However, she is mistaken for a scammer and is kicked off the stage. Devastated, she contemplates suicide but is saved by the CEO Qiu Shusen, who is secretly participating in the show. The two quickly marry. After the flash marriage, Su Lizhen faces a series of challenges, including mockery and harassment from old classmates, misunderstandings and unreasonable demands from her son's family, and even being forced by her son to appear on a TV show for a confrontation. However, with the CEO’s support, she overcomes each crisis and ultimately finds her long-lost daughter, who has been missing for 20 years.
