In 2006, Marcel "The Sniper" Wallace wins THE LEAGUE title, then loses his wife to rival Tyler Murray's hitman. He vanishes into a fast-food job for twenty years. Lured back as coach, he reunites with his resentful son Mars, a LEAGUE star. Marcel proves himself through impossible shots while Murray escalates to kidnapping and blackmail. At the Hall of Fame, Marcel reveals his identity and Murray confesses to murder. Victory comes when Mars accepts twenty unsent birthday letters and they embrace.
