Sophie Devin uses her formidable strength to defend the nation in honor of her father and brother, who lost their lives on the battlefield. However, for the sake of assuring her mother, she promises to hide her capabilities and stop involving herself in the battles. Instead, she marries Blake Jaffe, the man her mother has chosen for her, and embraces a life as an ordinary woman. On their wedding day, Blake leaves for a mission and returns only a year later.
