The middle of the season, where the conflict escalates.
Ten years ago, Chen Ming was accepted into Qingbei University but considered not attending due to a 50,000 dollars tuition fee. To help his son, Chen Ke sacrificed his dignity, exchanging it for 30,000 dollars. The villagers of Chenjia Village learned of this and chipped in with eggs and small change to raise the remaining 20,000 dollars. With their help, Chen Ming was able to attend university and pursue his education.
