In order to marry into a wealthy family, Chen Muxue entrusted her biological daughter Xinxin to her grandfather Chen Jianguo for care. Three years later, Chen Muxue went home to pick up Xinxin, but she had a car accident on the way. Between her biological daughter Xinxin and her stepdaughter Tingting, she chose to save Tingting first, which led to Xinxin's death. Chen Jianguo was heartbroken, but Chen Muxue was unaware of it.
