The female lead, Ye Lan, dissatisfied with her family's pressure to marry, goes to a matchmaking corner to meet potential suitors. She mistakenly believes the male lead, who is also there to escape a family-arranged marriage, has a special occupation. The male lead instantly recognizes Ye Lan — in fact, he had developed feelings for her when she helped him during their school days. Ye Lan, seeking a man for a quick marriage and divorce, finds the male lead's “special occupation” to be just the right fit. Thus, both of them propose a flash marriage.
