Opening of the season — the setup and the first turn.
In 1978, in the peaceful village of Xingfu, Sun Pandi gives birth to a baby girl, only to find that she can never have more children. Filled with resentment towards her newborn daughter, she and her husband decide to abandon the girl in the mountains, planning to adopt a boy instead. However, a miracle occurs when a lucky spirit, Xiao Fubao, reincarnates into the abandoned girl's body. The baby is soon found by Zhang Xiulian, Sun Pandi's sister-in-law, who takes her home. Despite their initial rejection, with the stubborn support of her grandmother Wang Guiying, Xiao Fubao is adopted by the Zhao family, marking the beginning of a new, fortunate life for her.
