Merritt, a wealthy heiress, dines at her halfbrother Payne’s Michelin restaurant. Trista, Payne’s girlfriend and restaurant manager, mistakes her for a love rival. She gives her a 500,000yuan bill, has her detained and beaten, and extorts one million. Merritt pretends to yield while calling the police. At Payne’s villa, she sees Trista twist facts, and Payne demands she kneel to apologize. Police arrest Trista.
