On the eve of her eighteenth birthday, Ming Ying faces a series of unexpected events. She first learns that she won't live past eighteen, only to later discover that she is actually a swapped daughter — a fake daughter of the Minister of Personnel's family. Returning to the countryside, to the Pei family, which was supposed to be her real home, she gradually uncovers that the Pei family is not as humble as it seems. Eventually, she uncovers the truth of her identity as the first princess of the former Crown Prince and is granted the title of Princess Zhaoyang, finding both her royal heritage and love along the way.
