Xu Zhimo, a small-town boy, marries Zheng Ruyi from a privileged background. But his desires lead him into affairs with his boss Lin Dan and the charming Lin Wanwan. When his wife collapses, he faces ruin. Fortunately, his childhood friend Gu Han returns, joining Ruyi's friend Lu Lu to defeat Xu in business and reclaim his marital assets with Lin Dan and Su Ran's help. In the end, Gu Han wins Ruyi's heart, and they promise a happy future together.
