Opening of the season — the setup and the first turn.
Lin Mulan, the second daughter of the Lin family in Shijing Village, is forced into marriage with Zhang Tianhao, the son of the village chief. On the day of the wedding, Lin Mulan's mother, Xu Wenting, helps her and her older sister, Lin Chaoxia, escape. The three women are discovered while fleeing, and Xu Wenting and Lin Chaoxia are captured and brought back. However, Lin Mulan accidentally falls off a cliff and loses her memory. She is found and adopted by Xu Zhen, the chairman of the Xu Group, who is passing by while searching for his relatives. Lin Mulan is given the new name Xu Yuan from that moment on.
