Opening of the season — the setup and the first turn.
The three Lin brothers are kidnapped and meet Shen Tang at the traffickers’ hideout. Shen Tang saves them from mutilation, earning their gratitude. They gift her one half of a jade pendant as a token of lifelong kinship. During an escape, a fire breaks out. To protect Shen Tang, the brothers hide her in a washing machine, but she sustains severe injuries and blindness. Years later, she becomes their sister Lin Weiran’s music teacher. However, Lin Weiran, harboring malice, attempts to humiliate her, leading to a confrontation that exposes deeper family ties and buried secrets.
