Tessa Harper, an insecure woman, is framed by her sister Nina into drugging her husband, Andrew Beckett. Nina's schemes inadvertently deepen his bond with Tessa. After several crises and with the children's help, Tessa confesses everything. The family reconciles, with Tessa vowing to heal Andrew's legs, uniting all seven at last.
