Effective August 4, 2026. V-Drama has no accounts and no sign-up — we never ask for your name, email address or any other identity. This page explains the little we do collect and why.
V-Drama runs its own lightweight, first-party analytics. When you use the site we record events such as which pages were viewed, whether playback started, and which ad slots were requested. Each event carries: a random session identifier, a truncated one-way hash of your IP address (the address itself is not stored in analytics), your device class (mobile/desktop), browser language, and the page involved. We use this to understand which series people watch, to detect broken sources, and to measure how the site performs. We do not use it to build individual profiles, and we do not sell it.
Like almost every website, our servers and our hosting/CDN providers also keep standard technical logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and debugging. These are retained for a limited period and then rotated away.
We set a small number of first-party cookies and browser-storage keys, all functional:
vd_lang — remembers the language you picked, so the homepage greets you in it.vd_app — remembers the last platform section you browsed.None of these are required; blocking them breaks nothing except the conveniences they provide.
V-Drama is funded by ads served by a third-party network — currently Adsterra. It may set its own cookies or use similar identifiers to measure ad delivery and, depending on your region and its policies, to personalise ads. Its processing is governed by its own privacy policy: Adsterra. Your browser also contacts a Google advertising domain (pagead2.googlesyndication.com) so the site can detect whether ad requests are being blocked; no Google ads are served here. Google’s advertising practices are described at Google, and you can adjust personalisation at Google Ad Settings; the DAA opt-out page covers many other networks.
The series you watch are streamed from the source platforms' video servers (in some cases relayed through ours). When video is fetched directly from a source platform's servers, that platform's infrastructure necessarily sees your IP address, as with any content delivery network.
The site is intended for a general audience and not directed at children under 13. We knowingly collect no personal information from anyone, children included.
If this policy changes materially, the new version will appear at this address with an updated effective date.
