DMCA & Copyright Policy

V-Drama respects the intellectual-property rights of others and responds promptly to valid copyright notices. This page explains how to send one.

How content appears on V-Drama

V-Drama is an index and player for short drama series that source platforms distribute freely through their public services. Video is streamed from those platforms' delivery infrastructure; V-Drama's catalogue entries (titles, posters, episode lists) are derived from the data those platforms publish. Paywalled episodes are deliberately excluded. If you hold rights to a work listed here and want it removed, we will remove it — the process below exists to make that fast and verifiable.

Filing a takedown notice

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “DMCA takedown” containing:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed (title of the series is usually enough; a registration number or original-publication link helps).
  2. The exact V-Drama URL(s) where the material appears — one per line. This is the single most important item; we cannot act on “all my content” without URLs or an identifiable series title.
  3. Your name, organisation, and a way to reach you (email address at minimum).
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

Valid notices are processed promptly — typically the listed URLs stop resolving within a few business days, and the affected series is excluded from the catalogue so it does not reappear on the next refresh. We will confirm by email when this is done.

Counter-notices

If material you published was removed following a notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address containing: identification of the removed material and where it appeared, your contact details, a statement under penalty of perjury of your good-faith belief that the removal was erroneous, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts at your address (or, if outside the country of operation, to an appropriate judicial authority). We will forward valid counter-notices to the original complainant.

Repeat infringement

Sources or series that are the subject of repeated valid notices are removed from the catalogue permanently.

Abuse of this process

Knowingly false claims of infringement can carry legal liability for the sender. If you are unsure whether you hold the relevant rights, seek legal advice before filing.
