A Le has spent his life navigating the underworld, always loyal to his brother, Dongguan Zai. He took the fall for a crime committed by his brother, serving over twenty years in prison. Upon his release, Dongguan Zai fulfills his promise to throw him a welcome party. But to A Le's shock, he learns that the same brother who promised to care for his daughter, Tong Tong, is planning to marry her. In the ensuing confrontation, Dongguan Zai shamelessly reveals that A Le's wife was also killed because of him. Fueled by rage, A Le attempts to expose him but is fatally stabbed. Watching the scoundrel marry his daughter and cause the death of his wife, A Le's hatred drives him to an unexpected second chance at life. He is sent back to the day when he drew the death card, destined to take the fall for Dongguan Zai. A Le pretends to comply and returns home to prepare for escape with his wife and daughter. However, Dongguan Zai traps them at home. To force A Le into submission, Dongguan Zai kidna
