Arthur, a once-promising footballer whose career was ruined by a malicious foul, has been living as a garage mechanic for three years. One rainy night, Emily, the owner of the struggling "Lions," finds him and offers to clear his debts in exchange for becoming a tactical coach. As Arthur revitalizes the team, he faces sabotage from his nemesis Maxim, who resorts to poisoning the pitch and bribing referees.
