Evander Huxley, the son of the Huxley family, is ranked fourth among his siblings. His father, Alaric Huxley, has him later in life and is expected to cherish him. However, Evander goes missing as a child. After being found and returned to the family, he is overshadowed by his adopted brother, Cassian Huxley, who manipulates his way into favor within the household. Cassian secretly schemes against Evander, framing him for various wrongdoings.
