Ten years later, Wu Yaozu and his wife face a financial crisis when she is injured in a car accident and requires surgery. Unable to raise enough money, his brother arrives at the hospital, feeling guilty and expressing his desire to quit school. Wu Yaozu scolds him, urging him to honor their sacrifices. Motivated by his brother's words, Wu Yaozu's brother studies hard, eventually earning a spot at his dream university.
