The Xia family eventually collapses under the backlash of the fate they once stole. But danger rises again. Supported by a mysterious mastermind, Xia Mengshu impersonates Bu Ling, deceives the public, and even captures and humiliates the real Bu Ling— not knowing that touching Bu Ling means touching Bu Hui’s reverse scale. Enraged, Bu Hui strikes, and Xia Mengshu dies a brutal death. Soon after, Bu Ling and Jiang Xian’s shared life-calamity arrives. Everyone unites to capture the true mastermind—Master Tianque. Just as peace appears within reach, Jiang Che suddenly attempts to assassinate Jiang Xian. Bu Ling throws herself forward to save him. In the end, the two lovers rescue one another and survive their destined catastrophe together.
