Sisters Qiutian and Qiuye lost their parents in a car accident and have relied on each other since childhood. To make ends meet, Qiutian takes on multiple jobs. Qiuye repeatedly borrows money to try to marry into a wealthy family. To delay repaying her debts, Qiuye sets up her sister to drug her, intending to send her to her creditor, Gao Daming. Unexpectedly, Qiutian ends up spending a night with wealthy businessman Cold Junshan. Qiuye, pretending to be her sister, successfully moves into Cold's house, while the unaware Qiutian applies to become Cold's bodyguard.
