Ethan Grant originally planned to bring his parents to the city to enjoy family time together and take care of his pregnant wife, Catherine Wood. However, Catherine, in collusion with her mother, Fiona Collins, orchestrates a fake car accident to test Ethan's care for her. After the staged accident, Ethan, in a panic, accompanies Catherine to the hospital, but forgets his parents are locked in the car.
